Mountain BearCreekside Loop is quietest after site 18, and those sites keep afternoon shade longer than the center loop. The bathhouse was cleaned each morning, drinking-water pressure stayed strong, and the host posted weather notices before a heavy storm. Larger trailers should approach from the west entrance because the final turn from the east is tight. For tent campers, bring a longer extension cord if you reserve an electric site—the pedestal sits near the road.
